What Does the Agricultural Drone Policy Cover?
Our agricultural drone insurance is designed for professional operators who rely on their drones for day-to-day farming activities. The policy typically includes public and aviation liability cover (in case your drone causes damage, injury, or environmental impact during operations), as well as optional cover for your drone and related equipment against accidental damage, loss, or theft. What Are the Excluded Territories?
Worldwide cover is provided as standard, subject to certain excluded territories. If you need to operate your drone in any of the following areas, please contact us for a tailored quote: North Korea, Iran, Russia, Crimea, Ukraine and Belarus, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Nagorno-Karabakh, North Caucasian Federal District, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Burundi, Cabinda, Central African Republic, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mauritania, Georgia, Pakistan. Cover also excludes any country where operating the insured drone would breach United Nations sanctions.
Is Public Liability Insurance Included?
Public liability insurance is available as an optional add-on for our recreational policies. It protects you if your drone causes damage to property or injury to others. Cover typically starts from the equivalent of R1 million, depending on your selected level of protection.
